In plain words

The poet, to his heart: He who will take away the fear, the sickness, the affliction, the many births and the old age that come with them, and the mind that holds them and the body that houses them, and raise me to the highest heaven, is Acyuta, who never lets his own slip, of boundless fame, whose care for his own has neither beginning nor end: the Lord who lies on the couch of the venomous serpent, of whom the Veda sings.
