In plain words

The poet, waking the Lord: With flawless small drums, one-stringed lutes and mattaḷam drums, with the yāzh and the flutes, their music fills every quarter; the Kinnaras and the Garuḍas who sing songs to it, the Gandharvas there, the great ascetics, the gods, the Cāraṇas, the Yakṣas and the Siddhas have stood dazed in the press all through the night, waiting to worship your holy feet. And so, to grant them your morning audience in the assembly, Lord of Araṅgam, in grace, rise from your bed.
