मुकुरस्थस्य नाशेन मुखनाशो भवेत्कथम् ।बुद्धिस्थाभासनाशेन नाशो नैवात्मनः क्वचित् ॥ ६४ ॥

Let the image in the mirror be wiped out — how would that destroy the face? Let the reflection seated in the intellect be wiped out — the ātman is not destroyed by it, not at all, not ever.
