। ॥ १० ॥
In plain words
You drank poison as if it were milk — what of it? You ate fire as if it were parched grain — what of it? You roamed the sky like a bird — what of it, if you never once came face to face with your own Ātma?
Close to the Sanskrit
Whether poison was drunk like milk — from that, what? Whether fire was eaten like parched grain — from that, what? Passage through the sky was attained like a bird's — from that, what? — for one by whom his own Ātma was not at all directly realized.
