In plain words
You crossed the ocean on foot — what of it? You shut the wind inside a jar — what of it? You lifted Mount Meru in your hand — what of it, if you never once came face to face with your own Ātma?
Close to the Sanskrit
Whether the ocean was crossed on foot — from that, what? Whether the wind was placed in a pot — from that, what? Whether Meru was lifted in the hand — from that, what? — for one by whom his own Ātma was not at all directly realized.
