The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Aparokṣānubhūtiḥ

Verse 103

In plain words

Breath brought under restraint; the senses drawn back in; the mind held to one point; meditation on the Ātman; and samādhi — these are the limbs, and they have been named in exactly this order.

Close to the Sanskrit

Restraint of the breath, and indeed withdrawal, and concentration, meditation on the Self, and absorption — these limbs have indeed been declared, in order.
