The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Aparokṣānubhūtiḥ

Verse 124

निर्विकारतया वृत्त्या ब्रह्माकारतया पुनः ।वृत्तिविस्मरणं सम्यक्समाधिर्ज्ञानसंज्ञकः ॥ १२४ ॥

In plain words

First by a movement of mind that carries no change in it, and then by a movement that takes the very form of Brahman — and finally the movement itself forgotten, completely. That is samādhi, the one that also goes by the name jñāna.

Close to the Sanskrit

By the vṛtti as free of modification, and again by [that vṛtti] as having the form of Brahman, the complete forgetting of the vṛtti is samādhi, which bears the name knowledge.
