Aparokṣānubhūtiḥ

Verse 42

इत्यात्मदेहभेदेन देहात्मत्वं निवारितम् ।इदानीं देहभेदस्य ह्यसत्त्वं स्फुटमुच्यते ॥ ४२ ॥

In plain words

That much is settled: by holding Self and body apart, the idea that the body is the Self has been ruled out. Now, plainly: the body's separateness has no existence of its own.

Close to the Sanskrit

Thus, by the distinction between Self and body, the body's being-the-Self has been warded off; now, indeed, the unreality of the body's separateness is stated clearly.
