चैतन्यस्यैकरूपत्वाद्भेदो युक्तो न कर्हिचित् ।जीवत्वं च मृषा ज्ञेयं रज्ज्वां सर्पग्रहो यथा ॥ ४३ ॥

Consciousness is of one nature all the way through — so difference has no place in it, not at any time, ever. And being a jīva, a separate living self: know that it is false. False exactly the way the snake is false when what is lying there is a rope.
