घटत्वेन यथा पृथ्वी पटत्वेनैव तन्तवः ।विनिर्णीता विमूढेन देहत्वेन तथाऽऽत्मता ॥ ७१ ॥
In plain words
A confused man looks at clay and pronounces it a pot; he looks at threads and pronounces them a cloth. In exactly the same way he looks at the Self and pronounces it a body.
Close to the Sanskrit
Just as earth has been definitively concluded to be pot-ness by the deluded one, and the threads precisely as cloth-ness, so too Self-hood as body-ness.
