Verse 77

पीतत्वं हि यथा शुभ्रे दोषाद्भवति कस्यचित् ।तद्वदात्मनि देहत्वं पश्यत्यज्ञानयोगतः ॥ ७७ ॥

In plain words

Jaundice makes something white look yellow — the eye is flawed, not the thing itself. In the same way, ignorance makes you see a body where there is only Self.

Close to the Sanskrit

Just as yellowness arises in something white due to a defect, for someone — likewise, [a person] perceives body-hood in the Self owing to the conjunction with ignorance.
