The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Ātmabodhaḥ

Verse 34

अमनस्त्वान्न मे दुःखरागद्वेषभयादयः ।अप्राणो ह्यमनाः शुभ्र इत्यादि श्रुतिशासनात् ॥ ३३ ॥

In plain words

I have no mind — so grief is not mine, craving is not mine, hatred is not mine, fear is not mine, nor any of the rest. "Without breath, without mind, radiant" — this and lines like it are what the śruti lays down.

Close to the Sanskrit

Because of being without mind, there are not, for me, sorrow, attachment, aversion, fear, and the rest — from the śruti's teaching, 'without breath, indeed without mind, radiant,' and so forth.
