The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Ātmabodhaḥ

Verse 51

तीर्त्वा मोहार्णवं हत्वा रागद्वेषादिराक्षसान् ।योगी शान्तिसमायुक्त आत्मारामो विराजते ॥ ५० ॥

In plain words

He has crossed the ocean of moha. He has killed the demons — craving, aversion, and all their kin. Now the yogī is one with śānti, his delight is the Self and nothing else, and he shines.

Close to the Sanskrit

Having crossed the ocean of delusion, having slain the demons that begin with attraction and aversion, the yogī, wholly joined with peace, delighting in the Self, shines forth.
