The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Ātmabodhaḥ

Verse 54

In plain words

When the limiting adjuncts dissolve, the sage enters the all-pervading Viṣṇu with no difference left over — the way water goes into water, space into space, light into light.

Close to the Sanskrit

From the dissolution of the limiting adjuncts, the sage enters into Viṣṇu, the all-pervading, without any distinction — as water into water, space into space, or light into light.
