The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Ātmabodhaḥ

Verse 55

In plain words

Gain it, and there is nothing further left to gain. Its happiness — no other happiness goes beyond it. Know it, and no knowledge remains above that knowing. That is Brahman: settle it, and hold it settled.

Close to the Sanskrit

That from the gaining of which there is no other gain, that than whose happiness there is no other happiness, that than whose knowing there is no other knowledge — that is Brahman: thus one should firmly ascertain.
