सदा सेव्यः कृष्णः सजलघननीलः करतलेदधानो दध्यन्नं तदनु नवनीतं मुरलिकाम् ।कदाचित्कान्तानां कुचकलशपत्रालिरचना-समासक्तः स्निग्धैः सह शिशुविहारं विरचयन् ॥ १० ॥
In plain words
Serve Kṛṣṇa always — blue-black as a cloud heavy with rain. In his palm he holds curd-rice, then fresh butter, then the flute. Sometimes he is absorbed in tracing rows of leaf-patterns on the pitcher-round breasts of the women who love him; and with his dear friends he plays the games children play.
