The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Brahmānucintanaṃ

Verse 22

In plain words

Keep at it as long as you live, without a break, and the seeker becomes free while still breathing. I am not this body. I am not the breath that moves it. And I am not the senses either — not one of them.

Close to the Sanskrit

As long as life lasts, through constant practice, the striving renunciate would become liberated while still living: I am not the body, nor the vital breath, nor likewise the senses.
