The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Brahmānucintanaṃ

Verse 25

In plain words

Since what I am is always the witness and nothing but the witness, I am Śiva alone — nothing else, nothing added. Everything that has come into being came into being in me. Everything that stands, stands in me.

Close to the Sanskrit

Because of always being of the nature of the witness, I am Śiva alone, the one without a second. In me alone the whole has been born; in me everything is established.
