इदं वै तन्मधु दध्यङ्ङाथर्वणोऽश्विभ्यामुवाच ।तदेतदृषिः पश्यन्नवोचत् ।आथर्वणायाश्विनौ दधीचेऽश्व्यं शिरः प्रत्यैरयतम् ।स वां मधु प्रवोचदृतायन्त्वाष्ट्रं यद्दस्रावपि कक्ष्यं वामिति ॥ १७ ॥
In plain words
This is the honeyed teaching Dadhyañc, son of Atharvan, once gave to the twin Aśvins. Seeing it directly, the seer spoke these very words: 'To Dadhīca, son of Atharvan, the two Aśvins gave back a horse's head. True to his word, he told you both the teaching that belongs to Tvaṣṭṛ — and with it, wonder-workers, the secret one as well.'

This indeed is that madhu which Dadhyañc, descendant of Atharvan, told to the two Aśvins. This the seer, seeing it, declared: 'To Dadhīca, descendant of Atharvan, the two Aśvins fitted back a horse's head. He proclaimed the madhu to you two, holding to truth — the teaching of Tvaṣṭṛ, and also, O wonder-workers, the secret one, to you two.'
