In plain words
This is the honeyed teaching Dadhyañc, son of Atharvan, once gave to the twin Aśvins. Seeing it directly, the seer spoke these words: 'He shaped bodies with two feet, and he shaped bodies with four. Then, taking the form of a bird, he entered those very bodies as the person within.'
Close to the Sanskrit
This indeed is that madhu which Dadhyañc, descendant of Atharvan, told to the two Aśvins. This the seer, seeing it, declared: 'He made bodies that are two-footed; he made bodies that are four-footed. First, having become a bird, he, as the person, entered the bodies.'
