तद्वा अस्यैतदतिच्छन्दा अपहतपाप्माभयँ रूपम् ।तद्यथा प्रियया स्त्रिया संपरिष्वक्तो न बाह्यं किंचन वेद नान्तरमेवमेवायं पुरुषः प्राज्ञेनात्मना संपरिष्वक्तो न बाह्यं किंचन वेद नान्तरं तद्वा अस्यैतदाप्तकाममात्मकाममकामँ रूपँ शोकान्तरम् ॥ २१ ॥
In plain words
This, truly, is his real form — beyond every desire, every evil struck away, without a trace of fear. Just as a man held in the embrace of the woman he loves knows nothing outside himself and nothing inside himself, this person, held in the embrace of the Self that is pure awareness, knows nothing outside and nothing inside either. This, truly, is his form where every desire is already fulfilled, where the Self alone is what he wants, where there is no more wanting at all, and no more sorrow.

This, indeed, is his form that is beyond desire, its evil struck away, without fear. Just as a man embraced by a beloved woman knows nothing external, nothing internal, exactly so does this person, embraced by the Self of pure awareness, know nothing external, nothing internal. This, indeed, is his form in which desire is already attained, whose desire is the Self, desireless, free from sorrow. || 21 ||
