In plain words
Brahman turns away from anyone who treats it as something separate from the Self. The same is true of the ruling power, the worlds, the gods, the Vedas, every being, everything — treat any of it as separate from the Self, and it withdraws from you. This brahman, this ruling power, these worlds, these gods, these Vedas, these beings, all of it — is nothing but this very Self.
Close to the Sanskrit
Brahman abandons him who knows brahman as other than the Self. The kṣatra abandons him who knows the kṣatra as other than the Self. The worlds abandon him who knows the worlds as other than the Self. The gods abandon him who knows the gods as other than the Self. The Vedas abandon him who knows the Vedas as other than the Self. Beings abandon him who knows beings as other than the Self. All abandons him who knows all as other than the Self. This brahman, this kṣatra, these worlds, these gods, these Vedas, these beings, this all — is what this Self is.
