तद्यत्तत्सत्यमसौ स आदित्यो य एषएतस्मिन्मण्डले पुरुषो यश्चायं दक्षिणे-ऽक्षन्पुरुषस्तावेतावन्योन्यस्मिन्प्रतिष्ठितौरश्मिभिरेषोऽस्मिन्प्रतिष्ठितः प्राणैरयम-मुष्मिन्स यदोत्क्रमिष्यन्भवति शुद्धमेवै-तन्मण्डलं पश्यति नैनमेते रश्मयः प्र-त्यायन्ति ॥ २ ॥
In plain words
That Truth you have just been taught about is the sun itself — the very person shining inside that solar disc, and at the same time the person living in your right eye. The two hold each other up: the sun reaches you through its rays, and you reach back into the sun through your breath. And when you are about to leave this body, you see that disc alone, stripped down to pure light — its rays no longer come back to you.

Now, that which is Truth is yonder sun — which is this person in this orb, and also this person here in the right eye. These two are established in one another: this one is established here by its rays, this one in that one by the vital breaths. When he is about to depart, he sees only this orb, become pure; these rays no longer reach him.
