स य इच्छेत्पुत्रो मे शुक्लो जायेत वे-दमनुब्रुवीत सर्वमायुरियादिति क्षीरौ-दनं पाचयित्वा सर्पिष्मन्तमश्नीयातामी-श्वरौ जनयितवै ॥ १४ ॥
In plain words
If a man wishes for a fair-skinned son who masters a single Veda and lives out his full life, he and his wife should have rice cooked in milk, and eat it together with ghee — and they become able to give life to just such a son.

If he should desire: 'may a fair son be born to me, may he recite a Veda through, may he attain his full lifespan' — then, having had milk-rice cooked, the two of them should eat it with ghee; [thereby] they become capable of begetting [such a son].
