अथैनामभिपद्यतेऽमोऽहमस्मि सा त्व-५ सा त्वमस्यमोऽहं सामाहमस्मि ऋ-क्त्वं द्यौरहं पृथिवी त्वं तावेहि सँर-भावहै सह रेतो दधावहै पुँसे पुत्रायवित्तय इति ॥ २० ॥
In plain words
Then he comes to her, saying: 'I am this, you are that; you are that, I am this. I am the Sāman, you are the Ṛc; I am heaven, you are the earth. Come — let us join, let us hold each other, let us plant the seed together, for a son, a boy, ours to have.'

Then he approaches her, [saying]: 'I am the amaḥ, you are that; you are that, I am the amaḥ; I am the Sāman, you are the Ṛc; I am heaven, you are the earth. Let the two of us join, let us clasp together, let us together place the seed, for a male, for a son, for gaining [him],' thus.
