In plain words

Then he speaks a mantra over the mother: 'You are Iḍā, daughter of Mitra and Varuṇa. O woman of heroes, you have given birth to a hero. May you go on bearing heroes, since this child already makes you one who has.' Of a son like this, people say: 'He has outgrown his father — imagine that! He has outgrown his grandfather — imagine that! He has reached the very summit — in glory, in fame, in the brightness of sacred knowledge.' Such is the son born to a father who knows this teaching.

Then he addresses the mother with a mantra: 'You are Iḍā, of Mitra and Varuṇa; O heroine, you have brought forth a hero. May you, being she, become possessed of heroes, since from this you have made [us] possessed of heroes,' thus. Of him indeed, this one, they say: 'He has surpassed his father — oh! He has surpassed his grandfather — oh! He has attained the highest, farthest bound, in glory, in fame, in the splendor of sacred knowledge' — [namely] the son who is born to a Brāhmaṇa who knows thus.
