स होवाच गार्ग्यो य एवासावादित्ये पुरुष एतमेवाहं ब्रह्मोपास इति स होवाचाजातशत्रुर्मा मैतस्मिन्संवदिष्ठा अतिष्ठाः सर्वेषां भूतानां मूर्धा राजेति वा अहमेतमुपास इति स य एतमेवमु-पास्तेऽतिष्ठाः सर्वेषां भूतानां मूर्धा राजाभवति ॥ २ ॥
In plain words
He said, 'Gārgya, that very person who dwells within the sun—him I worship as Brahman.' Ajātaśatru replied, 'Do not dispute with me about him. I worship him as the supreme, as the crown and sovereign king of all beings.' Whosoever meditates upon him in this way becomes the supreme, the head, and king over all creation.

He said: 'O Gārgya, that person who is indeed in the sun, him I worship as Brahman.' He said to him: 'Do not converse with me about this. As the supreme standing, the head and king of all beings, indeed I worship him.' He who worships him thus becomes the supreme standing, the head and king of all beings.
