In plain words
These three practices -- restraint, freedom from greed, and compassion -- are laid down as belonging to every form of meditation: master them, and you become fit for any of these meditative paths. We have already dealt with the vision of Brahman as it is, free of every limiting condition. Now the text turns to the same Brahman under conditions, and to the rewards -- worldly flourishing -- that come from meditating on Brahman that way. That is what this next section sets out to do.
