अथ यच्चतुर्थममृतं तन्मरुत उपजीवन्ति सोमेन मुखेन न वै देवा अश्नन्तिन पिबन्त्येतदेवामृतं दृष्ट्वा तृप्यन्ति ॥ १ ॥

Now, as for the fourth nectar—which the Maruts live upon through Soma as their mouth—the gods do not truly eat or drink; simply by seeing this very nectar, they are fully satisfied.

Now, what is the fourth nectar, that the Maruts subsist upon through Soma as their mouth: the gods indeed do not eat, nor do they drink; having seen this very nectar they are satisfied.
