The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Chāndogyopaniṣadbhāṣyam

Verse 184

In plain words

Just as the highest throw in a game of dice naturally contains all the lower throws within itself, so too do all the good deeds performed by living beings converge upon Raikva. And whoever realizes the truth that Raikva knows, shares in that same greatness.

Close to the Sanskrit

Just as for the winner of the highest throw of dice (Krita), the lower throws are included, in the same way, all that which creatures do as good converges upon him; and whoever knows that which he (Raikva) knows, he is thus spoken of by me.
