समाने तृप्यति मनस्तृप्यति मनसितृप्यति पर्जन्यस्तृप्यति पर्जन्ये तृप्यतिविद्युत्तृप्यति विद्युति तृप्यन्त्यां यत्किंचविद्युच्च पर्जन्यश्चाधितिष्ठतस्तत्तृप्यति त-स्यानु तृप्तिं तृप्यति प्रजया पशुभिरन्ना-द्येन तेजसा ब्रह्मवर्चसेनेति ॥ २ ॥
In plain words
When the vital breath samāna finds fulfillment, the mind finds fulfillment. When the mind is fulfilled, the raincloud is fulfilled. When the raincloud is fulfilled, lightning is fulfilled. When lightning is fulfilled, whatever lightning and raincloud govern is likewise fulfilled. Following after their contentment, the worshiper himself finds fulfillment in progeny, in cattle, in food, in radiance, and in spiritual luster.

In the equal breath [samāna] being satisfied, the mind is satisfied. In the mind being satisfied, the raincloud is satisfied. In the raincloud being satisfied, lightning is satisfied. While lightning is being satisfied, whatever lightning and raincloud preside over, that is satisfied. Following after his satisfaction, he is satisfied with offspring, with cattle, with food, with radiance, with holy luster thus.
