उदाने तृप्यति त्वक्तृप्यति त्वचि तृ-प्यन्त्यां वायुस्तृप्यति वायौ तृप्यत्याका-शस्तृप्यत्याकाशे तृप्यति यत्किंच वायु-श्चाकाशश्चाधितिष्ठतस्तत्तृप्यति तस्यानुतृप्तिं प्रजया पशुभिरन्नाद्येन तेजसा ब्र-ह्मवर्चसेन ॥ २ ॥
In plain words
When the upward breath finds fulfillment, the skin is fulfilled. As the skin is fulfilled, the vital air finds fulfillment; as the air is fulfilled, space finds fulfillment. And whatever rests upon that air and space—that too is fulfilled. In the wake of his satisfaction, he is fulfilled through progeny, cattle, food, radiance, and the inner light of sacred knowledge.

When udāna is satisfied, skin is satisfied; when skin is being satisfied, wind is satisfied; when wind is satisfied, space is satisfied; when space is satisfied, whatever wind and space rest upon, that is satisfied. Following his satisfaction, [he is satisfied] with progeny, with cattle, with food, with radiance, with spiritual lustre.
