एवँ सोम्य ते षोडशानां कलाना-मेका कलातिशिष्टाभूत्सान्नेनोपसमाहि-ता प्राज्वाली तयैतर्हि वेदाननुभवस्यन्न-मयँ हि सोम्य मन आपोमयः प्राणस्ते-जोमयी वागिति तद्धास्य विजज्ञावितिविजज्ञाविति ॥ ६ ॥
In plain words
Just so, my dear, of your sixteen parts only a single part remained; and that, nourished by food, flared up into a bright flame. With that single spark of mind you now grasp the Vedas. For the mind, my dear, is made of food, the life-breath is made of water, and speech is made of fire.' And with that, he understood it—yes, he truly understood.

In this manner, O dear one, of your sixteen digits one digit remained, that nourished by food blazed forth, by that now you experience the Vedas. Food-made indeed, O dear one, is the mind, water-made is the breath, fire-made is speech, thus. That indeed of him he understood, he understood.
