In plain words
Now understand my teaching on hunger and thirst, dear one. When a person feels the desire to eat, it is water alone that leads and digests what is consumed. Just as leaders guide cows, horses, or men, water is designated as the leader of hunger. Recognize, dear one, that this bodily sprout must have a root; nothing here exists without a source. 3
