Chāndogyopaniṣadbhāṣyam

Verse 31

स य एतदेव विद्वानक्षर प्रणौत्येतदे-वाक्षर५ स्वरममृतमभय प्रविशति तत्प्र-विश्य यदमृता देवास्तदमृतो भवति ॥

In plain words

He who knows this imperishable syllable and chants with it enters that very sound—immortal, fearless, and imperishable. Having entered it, he becomes immortal in the exact way the gods are immortal.

Close to the Sanskrit

He who, knowing this very imperishable one, praises with it, enters this very imperishable sound, immortal and fearless; having entered that, just as the gods are immortal, he becomes immortal.
