In plain words
Then Indra, even before reaching the other gods, perceived this flaw: 'Just as when this body is well-adorned, the reflection is well-adorned; when well-clothed, it is well-clothed; when groomed, it is groomed—so too, when this body is blind, the reflection is blind; when diseased, it is diseased; when maimed, it is maimed. When the body is destroyed, the reflection is destroyed along with it. I see no lasting value in this whatsoever.'

Then Indra, without even reaching the gods, saw this danger: 'Just as indeed when this body is well-adorned, the reflection is well-adorned; when well-clothed, well-clothed; when well-prepared, well-prepared; so likewise when this body is blind, the reflection is blind; when diseased, diseased; when mutilated, mutilated. Following upon the destruction of this very body, it perishes. I do not see any enjoyable fruit in this.'
