In plain words
These five are indeed the gatekeepers of the heart's heavenly realm, acting like royal sentinels stationed at the doors. Because the senses—eye, ear, speech, mind, and breath—naturally flow outward, they block the entryways to the Brahman residing within the heart. Because the senses are undisciplined and deeply entangled in external objects, the mind fails to rest in the inner Brahman. Therefore, it is entirely accurate to call these five the gatekeepers of heaven. When a person meditates upon these guardians with full understanding, he subdues them just as one wins over royal guards. Passing by them unhindered, he attains the heavenly realm—the inner Brahman—just as one reaches a king. Moreover, a valiant son is born into the family of such a wise seeker, enabling the discharge of ancestral debts and supporting further devotion, ultimately leading to the attainment of the heavenly state.

These verily are, as stated, due to connection with the five apertures, the five persons of Brahman residing in the heart, like royal persons, gatekeepers of the heavenly world of the heart. For by these—eye, ear, speech, mind, and breaths—tending outward, the doors of attainment of Brahman residing in the heart are obstructed. For it is evident that due to unmastered instruments and being deeply rooted in attachment to external objects, the mind does not rest in Brahman residing in the heart. Therefore it is truly said: 'These five brahman-persons are the gatekeepers of the heavenly world.' Hence, he who knows and worships these gatekeepers of the heavenly world possessing the described qualities through meditation, subdues them through meditation, just like royal gatekeepers, and being unhindered by them, attains the heavenly world, like a king, Brahman residing in the heart. Furthermore, in the family of this wise man a hero son is born, due to the service of heroic men. And by the discharge of debts, it is the cause of inclination toward meditation on Brahman; and then for the attainment of the heavenly world, it happens through succession. Thus the attainment of the heavenly world alone is the fruit.
