किं च, एष ह वा उदक्प्रवण उदङ्निम्नो दक्षिणोच्छ्रायोयज्ञो भवति ; उत्तरमार्गप्रतिपत्तिहेतुरित्यर्थः ।यत्रैवंविद्ब्रह्माभवति ।एवंविदं ह वै ब्रह्माणम् ऋत्विजं प्रति एषा अनु-गाथा ब्रह्मणः स्तुतिपरा-यतो यत आवर्तते कर्म प्रदेशात्ऋत्विजां यज्ञः क्षतीभवन्, तत्तद्यज्ञस्य क्षतरूपं प्रतिसंदधत्प्रायश्चित्तेन गच्छति परिपालयतीत्येतत् ॥

Regarding such a knowledgeable Brahman priest, there is this traditional verse in praise of him: wherever the sacrifice suffers flaws due to errors made by the priests, he heals those very defects through atonement, effectively guarding and preserving the rite.
