In plain words
Within this section on non-dual knowledge, meditations leading to prosperity are also taught. Some have fruits close to liberation; others focus on a slightly modified Brahman, such as the descriptions 'composed of mind, with vital breath as its body'; and still others serve to perfect ritual acts as accessories. Because they share an esoteric resemblance and a common mental form—for just as non-dual knowledge is essentially a movement of the mind, so too are these meditations merely mental modifications, sharing this common ground—what precisely is the difference between non-dual knowledge and these meditations?
Close to the Sanskrit
In this section on non-dual knowledge, meditations aimed at prosperity are spoken of—those whose fruits are close to liberation, those concerning Brahman slightly modified into non-dual and other forms such as 'consisting of mind, having vital breath as body', and those whose fruits are the enhancement of rituals, connected with ritual accessories. Because of a shared secret nature and a shared mental modification—just as non-dual knowledge is merely a mental modification, so too are other meditations in the form of mental modifications, for there is indeed a commonality—what then is the distinction between non-dual knowledge and meditations?
