स य अन्योऽपि देववदेव एतदक्षरम् एवम् अमृता-भयगुण विद्वान् प्रणौति स्तौति , उपासनमेवात्र स्तुति-रभिप्रेता, स तथैव एतदेवाक्षर स्वरममृतमभय प्रविशति,तत्प्रविश्य च—राजकुल प्रविष्टानाभिव राज्ञोऽन्तरङ्गबहिरङ्ग-तावत् न परस्य ब्रह्मणोऽन्तरङ्गबहिङ्गताविशेष -कि तर्हि ?

If any other person, knowing this imperishable syllable to be immortal and fearless, chants it—understanding that meditation here takes the form of praise—he enters that very same sound. Having entered it, just as people enter a king's court, there is no inner or outer circle when it comes to the supreme Brahman. What distinction could there be?

And any other person also who, knowing this imperishable syllable as possessing the qualities of immortality and fearlessness, praises it—here meditation is intended as praise—he in that very manner enters this imperishable sound, immortal and fearless; and having entered, like the inner and outer circle of those who have entered a royal court, there is no distinction of inner and outer closeness regarding the supreme Brahman; what then?
