Bhashya
अथ अनेनैव चाक्षुषेणैव ये च एतस्मादर्वाञ्चो लोकाताश्च आप्नोति, मनुष्यकामाश्च-चाक्षुषो भूत्वेत्यर्थः ।तस्मादुह एववित् उद्गाता ब्रूयात् यजमानम्- कम् इष्ट ते तवकाममागायानीति ।एष हि यस्मादुद्गाता कामागानस्यउद्गानेन काम सपादयितुमीष्टे समर्थ इत्यथः ।कोऽसौ ? यएव विद्वान् साम गायति ।द्विरुक्तिरुपासनसमाप्त्यर्था ॥

Then, by becoming the visual principle itself, he attains all those lower worlds and human desires. Therefore, the chanter who truly knows this should ask the patron of the sacrifice: 'Which desire shall I sing into being for you?' For this chanter is indeed able to fulfill desires through the power of his chant. Who is he? The one who sings the Sāma hymn with this knowledge. The repetition marks the conclusion of the meditation.

Then through this very ocular form he obtains those lower worlds and human desires, having become visual, this is the meaning. Therefore the udgatri priest who knows this should address the sacrificer: 'Which desired object shall I sing for you?' For this udgatri is capable of accomplishing desire through the singing of the chant, this is the meaning. Who is he? The one who knowing sings the Sama chant. The repetition is for the completion of the meditation.
