तथा अदृष्टेऽपि परलोके अमुष्मिन परोवरीयाँल्लोको भविष्यतीत्युक्तवान् शाण्डिल्याय अतिधन्वा शौनक ।स्यादे- तत्फल पूर्वेषा महाभाग्यानाम्, नैद्युगीनानाम्- इत्याश ङ्कानिवृत्तये आह- स य कश्चित् एतमेव विद्वान् उद्गी थम् एतर्हि उपास्ते, तस्याप्येवमेव परोवरीय एव ह अस्य अस्मिँल्लोके जीवन भवति तथा अमुष्मिल्लोके लोक इति ॥
In plain words
Thus Atidhanvan Śaunaka told Śāṇḍilya that an even more exalted world awaits in the unseen hereafter. To dispel the doubt that such a fruit belonged exclusively to the extraordinarily fortunate sages of antiquity and not to people of later times, the text declares: 'Whoever, knowing this very Udgītha, meditates upon it now, for him too life in this world becomes superior, and in that world he gains a corresponding world.'
Close to the Sanskrit
Thus Atidhanvan Śaunaka told Śāṇḍilya that even in the unseen future world there will be a superior world. To remove the doubt that this fruit belongs only to the ancients of great fortune and not to later ones, it says: Whoever, knowing this very Udgītha, meditates upon it now, for him also in this very manner his life in this world becomes superior, and in that world a world.
