कल्पन्ते समर्था भवन्ति ह अस्मै लोका ऊर्ध्वाश्च आवृत्ताश्च, गतागतिविशिष्टा भोग्यत्वेन व्यवतिष्ठन्त इत्यर्थ ।य एतदेव विद्वान लोकेषु पञ्चविध समस्त साधु सामेत्युपास्ते इति सर्वत्र योजना पञ्चविधे सप्तविधे च ॥

Whoever, knowing this truth, meditates upon the complete sāman as fivefold across the worlds—such is the application throughout both the fivefold and sevenfold meditations.

They become capable, indeed, for him—the worlds, both upward and inverted, remain established as objects of enjoyment, this is the meaning. He who, knowing this very thing, meditates upon the complete and proper sāman as fivefold in the worlds—thus is the application everywhere in the fivefold and sevenfold [sāman].
