In plain words

The expression 'sa ya' and so forth is explained as before. 'He becomes paired' means he remains unwidowed. 'From pair to pair he is born' speaks of having infallible seed. 'Not any whatsoever' means a man should not reject any woman who comes to his bed seeking union, because this is enjoined as part of the meditation on the Vāmadevya sāman. Prohibitory rules apply elsewhere; but because of the authoritative validity of this Vedic text establishing dharma, there is no contradiction here.

Close to the Sanskrit

Sa ya, etc., is as before. 'He becomes paired' means he becomes one whose wife is not dead. 'From pair to pair he is born' speaks of unfailing semen. 'Not any whatsoever' means one should not reject even any woman who has reached one's own bed seeking union, because it is prescribed as a limb of the Vāmadevya sāman meditation. Elsewhere there are prohibitory smṛtis. From the validity of the word and the understanding of dharma, there is no contradiction of this with prohibitory scripture.
