In plain words
His form glows until jasmine and the new bud look plain beside it. He sits at the foot of the banyan. His glances reach the sages like water — compassion's own nectar — and by knowing of that very order he splits the dark of delusion open. May the Lord, with the hand that holds the mudrā, wake me to this: That you are.
Close to the Sanskrit
He whose form, by its radiance, has put jasmine and fresh bud to shame, dwelling at the root of the banyan, honouring the company of sages with glances that are the nectar-waters of compassion, bringing about the sundering of delusion's darkness by knowledge of that very kind — may that Lord awaken me, with his hand bearing the mudrā, thus: "That you are."
