Dakṣiṇāmūrtistotram

Verse 8

In plain words

Though he is young, he can teach the meaning of Reality to the sages seated at his side as students. I bow to that teacher, the dwelling place of astonishing qualities — and it is heaps of merit from lives before this one that let me bow at all.

Close to the Sanskrit

He who, though being young, is competent to teach the meaning of Reality to the sages dwelling nearby as his students — him I bow to, by masses of merit gathered in former lives: the teacher, the abode of astonishing qualities.
