The works of Ādi Śaṅkarācārya

Daśaślokī

Verse 7

In plain words

Not Sāṅkhya. Not Śaiva. Not that Pāñcarātra. Not Jaina. Not the Mīmāṃsaka position, or any other. By an experience nothing in those systems can match, by being nothing but pure ātman — what is left when all of them are set down is one: Śiva, alone, and that is what I am.

Close to the Sanskrit

Not Sāṅkhya, not Śaiva, not that Pāñcarātra, not Jaina, nor the doctrine of the Mīmāṃsaka and the rest; because of distinctive experience, because of being of wholly pure Self-nature — therefore that one remaining, Śiva, alone, am I.
