With water scented by cardamom and uśīra, flowers strewn upon it; with water drawn from the Gaṅgā and every other Tīrtha; with the Amṛta-essence of ruby and flawless pearl; with water clear as gold — reciting the Vedic and Tantric Mantras, joyful and full of reverence, I make ready this bath for you, O Mother. Take it, out of love.
