। ॥ २४ ॥
In plain words
O Bhagavatī, the vermilion I have set with reverence along the parting of your hair sends a rain of joy through the lotus of my heart. Its glow is red always, like the light of the sun just risen, and it carries off the whole of the darkness inside — by thinking of it, and nothing more.
Close to the Sanskrit
O Bhagavatī, this vermilion, reverently placed by me upon the parting of your hair, spreads a rain of joy in the lotus of my heart — whose radiance, always red like the splendour of the newly risen sun, carries off the whole of the inner darkness by contemplation with the mind alone.
