Dvādaśaliṅgastotram

Verse 9

In plain words

Where the sacred Tāmraparṇī meets the great body of the sea, Rāma laid his bridge — and by night worshipped there with bilva leaves. That liṅga, called Rāmeśvara, I bow to without ceasing.

Close to the Sanskrit

At the junction with the water-mass of the holy Tāmraparṇī, having bound a bridge, worshipped fully by Śrī Rāmacandra at night with bilva leaves — that one, named Rāmeśvara, I continually salute.
